5th Mirecourt Music Festival
For these 9th International Music Meetings of Mirecourt, bowed strings mingle with plucked strings to cover all of Mirecourt's extraordinary artistic heritage. In addition, this year, with the invitation of a soprano, the vocal cords are added for an even broader repertoire.
Five international artists and three young soloists will be in residence at Mirecourt and will share the stage from November 13 to 19, 2017, to offer the public the great pages of French music alongside rarer works to discover.
The concert on November 14 at the Auditorium of the Ravenel Hospital will also be an opportunity to bring together the soloists of the festival, but also the teachers, the students, the Adult Vocal Workshop of the School of Music, the Choir of the School of Violin Making, the Itinér'airs Choir and the Courants d'Airs in a festive programme. In addition, three decentralized concerts in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, Neufchâteau and Dompaire will introduce an ever wider audience to classical music at its highest level.
